PIC giving back to your local sports club
At PIC, we believe in the power of sport to inspire, unite and transform lives. For over 20 years, PIC has forged strong and meaningful partnerships with high performing and community sports organisations around New Zealand.
This support now extends even further through our Sports Club Insurance Rebate, helping give back to the local clubs and communities that have supported us over the years.
Here’s how it works:
If your local sports club takes out insurance with PIC, we'll pay the club 50% of our commission and any applicable fees PIC earns on those policies, as a sponsorship rebate*.
Who can benefit?
Any amateur or community sports club in New Zealand is eligible to participate in the programme.
What cover does my local sports club need?
Each club has their own unique insurance needs, however, some of the cover we typically consider for sports clubs include:
- Material damage to commercial property or assets, such as:
- Clubrooms, buildings or storage facilities
- Commercial stock, plant or contents, incl. sporting equipment, trophies, refrigerated goods, etc.
- Sporting surfaces
- Liabilities protection, such as:
- Public liability
- Statutory liability
- Employers liability
- Directors and Officers / Associations liability
- Business interruption
- Commercial motor vehicle(s)
- Event insurance, such as:
- Event cancellation and abandonment
- Promotional competition indemnity (e.g. hole in one, kick for cash, etc.)
- International travel for teams or staff
We understand many sports clubs are managed by volunteers, so when it’s time to make a claim, our dedicated team of claims specialists will walk you through the entire process to achieve the best outcome possible, in a timely and efficient manner.
