Who is PIC?

PIC Insurance Brokers Ltd is a New Zealand owned company, incorporated in 1989, the successor to Insurance Broking operations originally founded by PIC's Managing Director, Mike Garner, in 1980.

In 2010, PIC operates four offices in New Zealand with over 50 staff, most of whom have significant insurance and risk industry experience. Turnover of staff at PIC is very low allowing strong relationships to be formed between broker and client.

PIC utilise all leading insurers in the New Zealand Market and also have direct access with offshore insurers.

As a broker PIC works for you, we are not employed by the insurance companies and therefore you can be assured that we will look after your best interests. We are not aligned to any one insurer which means we search the market to source and advise on the best solutions for you.

Staff Expertise

PIC’s greatest strength is in the core of senior brokers; most with individual backgrounds of more than 30 years in managing the insurance and risk requirements of clients within New Zealand and overseas.

Turnover of servicing brokers and support staff at PIC is very low which helps reinforce the PIC creed of "business built on relationships". PIC is dedicated to building long-term staff, client and insurer relationships.
