Life & Disability InsuranceWe don't plan to fail...we fail to plan - so why take the risk?We all like to think that we are "bullet proof" but the truth is we do get sick, we do have accidents and we do get older. At PIC Insurance Brokers our job is to get YOU thinking about what would happen to your partner, your children, your business and your lifestyle if you had an accident or became sick... or worse, were to die. What we do is provide solutions to these problems. Throughout our lives we may face several relatively minor medical emergencies from which we will fully recover. But at some stage we cross over the line and experience illness or disability from which we may not fully recover. However, we can predict and plan for this eventuality, so that we can still enjoy the best quality of life possible.
CONTACT US Death is inevitable, yet it is not something anyone likes to dwell on. But now, when you are fit and well, is the time to plan. Very few people die suddenly, without any warning. If you find you’re expected to die within the next 12 months, you may be able to receive your Life Cover in advance, so you can use it to ensure things are taken care of – the way that you want. In this way, you can make sure the money you have accumulated gradually is available when you need it, to ensure your peace of mind. If you cannot earn an income, your lifestyle will suffer and you will be forced to make changes. You will probably find it more difficult to meet your living costs when you are disabled than when you could work.
It is most likely that you will go back to work and be reasonably fit again. But there will eventually come a time when you won’t recover.
You can insure your income to cover such situations – think about what will happen to your life and your career while you are off work. Trauma cover pays a benefit if you are diagnosed with a critical illness or major trauma. With this benefit you could reduce or eliminate your debt, offset any losses in your future income, or create a cash reserve. What would happen if you could never work again? If your career finishes suddenly, long before you expected, it doesn’t necessarily follow that your life will. If this happened, you could use a permanent disability benefit to pay off debt, complete your pension or retirement plans, or create a cash reserve. CONTACT US |
